Getting there-
Air India is the only airline with a direct flight from India (Bangalore) to Maldives. Other airlines that fly from top Indian cities to Maldives are SpiceJet, Mega Maldives, Sri Lankan Airlines, Mihin Lanka, Saudia, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, flydubai, Qatar Airways, SilkAir, Etihad Airways, Bangkok Airways.
Getting Around-
Getting around in Maldives takes place mainly in three forms: air-taxis, boats and private yachts. However, air taxis and boats do not operate during nights. Private transfers can be arranged if you are going to a distant resort, which are highly expensive starting from USD 500/ INR 33,418. Sea planes are the quickest mode of local transport in this island country. Public ferries are relatively cheaper but turn out to be quite infrequent. Scheduled speedboats and taxi boats are a more convenient option when it comes to water transport in Maldives.
Seaplane: A unique adventure in itself, seaplanes are a quick way to reach the resorts located further from the airport. Flying at a low altitude, they offer you the most breath-taking views of Maldives.
There are two main operators for air-taxis in Maldives- Maldivian Air Taxi and Trans Maldivian Airways. They can carry up to 15 passengers at one time and the maximum time it takes from Male to the far-flung resorts is 90 minutes. However, keep in mind that these do not operate at night.
Boat: Hopping on and off ferries and speedboats is the best way to get around the island nation of Maldives. Dhoni charters and speedboats are available for hire at Male and all nearby islands.
Taxi boats are used to take tourists to and from the islands in the North and South Atolls. These come in all shapes and sizes depending on the resort you are staying in. Bear in mind that boats do not operate after dark.
Taxis: Taxi service is available only in two cities where road transport is a popular option - Male and Addu.
Dhoni: This is the local boat used by locals for travelling and can get you to your destination in no time. A gentler mode of transportation but no less exciting, dhoni is a great way to experience island hopping.
Climate: The best time to visit Maldives is between the months of November to April, when it experiences a cool weather dominated by the monsoons. This period is ideal for water-sport activities like snorkelling, wind-surfing, jet-skiing, scuba diving or just relaxing at the beach.
Cuisine- Maldivian cuisine also called Dhivehi cuisine is the cuisine of the Nation of Maldives and of Minicoy, India. The traditional cuisine of Maldivians is based on three main items and their derivatives: coconuts, fish and starches.

Day 01: Maldives
Arrive at Maldives airport After immigration collect the baggage meet our representative at information counter and get transferred to Hotel. Welcome to the Hotel. Hotel check in 14:00 hrs. The rest of day is free at leisure, after that in evening you are free for your own.

Day 02: Maldives
The second day of the tour is completely at leisure where you can do anything that you want to. Start your day with a breakfast. Simply relax on the beach or can partake in water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, water polo, explore the underwater coral reefs and marine life. You can also visit Male, Maldives’ capital city. Male is an amazing mix old and new sensibilities. Back to the hotel for dinner. Stay overnight in the Maldives.
Day 03: Maldives
The third day of the tour is free to enjoy a lazy day around on the white sandy beaches of Maldives. Indulge in the activities of your interest. Treat your eyes to the enchanting beauty spread around you. You can also visit any inhabited island to explore it or simply go on-board a cruise.

Day 04: Maldives
Post breakfast on day 4, get all set for another interesting day that you can spend as per your own preferences. If you wish, you can opt for a half-day island hopping tour. Maldives comprises of around 1200 small islands. Treat your eyes to the beauty of these amazing islands.
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Maldives-
Depart from Maldives after having breakfast, you get an assisted transfer to the airport to catch a flight to your onward destination.
